Well, I have finished the challenge, but I haven’t quite finished off the story. Hopefully a week’s worth of writing should just about see it completed, then I just need to put it away for a month in order to come back with a clear head. When I think back on it now, I know it needs more work, but that is what editing is for. If I start doing that now, I will only damage the integrity of the story!
The story has taken a while to develop, and I am slowly starting to make it come together. I am in the final stages of the story, where everything happens to finish off loose ends etc. This is the part of the story where Fabyan gives up his throne in order to find his love and see whether she loves him in return. I know that they will live happily ever after, or as close to it as realistically possible, and I do have a plan to get them there. There has been a slight variation to the original story, but the mother is only adding to it, rather than taking away. However I will be pleased to get this one over and done with and back into Editing the Chrystias!
It has been cold here, way too cold for this chicken – fire has been going as much as possible lately, which has been okay, but hasn’t really warmed me up. Maybe there is something wrong with me!
Went out for Kerry’s work do on Saturday night, it was a great night out, I had a ball and I think Kerry did too, he was certainly making the most of it! It was a good laugh and enjoyed by all concerned! Certainly some laughs! However, it was also sad to see friends who are having personal problems, people that I care about, but they are starting to have anomosity towards one another. There was also the stirring that occurs at these events, but if you ignore that and just enjoy the evening, it was all good!
